GILT Champange Lounge

The famous Gilt Champagne Bar is located in Jumeirah’s Carlton Tower. The inspiration for the champagne bar came from the forties, a style period in design history that followed Art Deco. Glamour was in vogue again after the war. We wanted the space to feel soft, feminine and glamorous. The palette was inspired by champagne; a golden liquid that celebrates life. All surfaces have a golden hue. The floors are tiled in gleaming brass parquet; upholstery tones range from light golden to dark chocolate champagne truffle colors. The bar’s custom chandelier consists of various freeform glass baubles inspired by the effervescence of sparkling champagne, which lend a lively sparkle to the ambience.
